Chitnahalli Udayashankar (18 February 1934 – 3 July 1993) was a lyricist of the Kannada film industry. He composed more than 3000 songs for Kannada films and also devotional songs. He was the son of lyricist Chi. Sadashivaiah. ==Career== In 1963, Chi Udayshankar wrote dialogues for the first time.
