Chi. Udayashankar

Chitnahalli Udayashankar (18 February 1934 – 3 July 1993) was a lyricist of the Kannada film industry. He composed more than 3000 songs for Kannada films and also devotional songs. He was the son of lyricist Chi. Sadashivaiah.
==Career==

He co-wrote dialogues and lyrics for many Kannada movies along with songs along with his father early career.
He directed movie Manku Dinne in 1968.
He has supplied great deal of dialogues and lyrics for 85 Rajkumar movies. He has worked with Rajkumar since 1963 to 1993 for 3 decades consisting of 92 movies.
